7/11/2012 – Thank you so much for sharing your very important concern with the City of Richmond government. This situation with basin backingup and flooding street has been formally reported to Richmond Stormwater Management (Request #20020852253 ) so that proper inspection and handling can take place accordingly. This problem is fixed. The city workers came out and gave this drain a good internal cleaning from both 31st Street and Stonewall Ave. openings and after the couple of torrential rains we've have lately, the drain did exactly that: drained and with no standing water.
