I've had more than one graffiti incident in Bethlehem resolved through this site. In my experience it works just fine.

I have generally had good responses to specific issues. Sidewalks were a problem, but they recently changed their policy to allow electronic submission. It would be good if the City closed issues when they were resolved. They could even snap a photo. It would facilitate communication. The dialogue is a little one sided at the moment, though I am thankful for the work Nanette is putting in.

My neutral to poor experience with city employees could easily be fixed if they'd get a few people put in charge who aren't trained products of the brain dead public sector. They sometimes just don't seem to "get it" that you and I are their CUSTOMERS and the source of their funding. Funny how that works, isn't it?

Perhaps it is Nanatte who is pushing hard on these things?

As I said before, I have used this site multiple times to report graffiti. All I did was post once, no pictures either. I never had to check back or anything. Got updates on the progress through e-mail and within a few weeks it was gone. No phone calls, no meetings, nothing. How that is "brain dead" is beyond me. Maybe your neutral to poor experience is a result of your approach.
