Southlake Drive is experiencing heavy construction traffic to and from a new subdivision off Douglas Road, including cement mixers and dump trucks. This street is a residential collector; it has a long history of problems with high volume cut-through traffic that resulted in the installment of raised crosswalks and lane-narrowing medians. Line of sight issues exacerbate worries about the safety of these large, heavy vehicles using this street. Would it be possible to post "No Through Trucks" at both entrances? If so, would it then make sense to notify the company developing the new subdivision? Thank you!
