I couldn't agree more! There are more and more vehicles using this street as a thoroughfare than those who actually live in the neighborhood.

Thanks for reporting. Per the Traffic Engineer, this intersection does not meet the criteria for an all-way stop sign. To meet the criteria, Vervais Avenue would need 300 vehicles per hour for 8 hours (averaged 57), and Elna Drive would need 100 vehicles and hour for the same 8 hours (averaged 60). Neither street met those requirements. The Traffic Engineer has sent a request to the Police Department for more speed enforcement presence at this location. Can we get a painted street sign then? Maybe one stating "slow"? Anything that slows traffic as they crest the hill would be great.

Thank you. More enforcement would be great. I have almost gotten hit several times at the 3 way stop at Vervais and Skyline. Many people don't even slow down, let alone stop at the stop sign.

UPDATE: Traffic Maintenance will be painting a "25" legend on the street just south of Skyline Drive. This should help alert drivers of the speed limit, along with the enforcement the Police Department will provide.
