  It is okay to put a car cover on your vehicle in the street. The Officer may place a 72 warning tag on this vehicle if the registration has not expired more than 6 months. The owner can move the vehicle and put the car cover back on.

  The car is a project car it has been sitting there for over 3 months. The tarp is not the problem. A car should not sit in one parking spot that other people need to park in we have limited parking on this street. It needs to put in some kind of storage the car does not run and it's not been moved.
