Code Enforcement is the problem here.
4 LEAF consultants should be made aware that the Homeless crisis in Vallejo became unprecedented due to inaction by Code Enforcement Division. CSS and Code Enforcement have failed to act on behalf of residents and homeless.
The problem is the false dilemma narrative posited by employees that they cannot enforce codes on City properties due to a court ruling in the ninth circuit court (see Martin v City of Boise).
Also, all other jurisdictions Caltrans, Private Properties, Northern California Railroad, Vallejo Flood and Waste water district are not subject to Code Enforcement Division’s control. Therefore any and all requests on this platform are either closed or archived (by Code Enforcement) and as a result no action is taken. Please fix this problem and help the community.
