Modifications are being made to the signal timing at this location to address backup on Webb Bridge Road during the peak morning and evening commute periods. While our traffic engineers are still working with the timing, it is important to note that Webb Bridge is a higher priority road in terms of maintaining traffic flow than is Morris. As a result, in order to maintain appropriate traffic flows on Webb Bridge that road will receive a longer green signal, which correlates to a longer red signal time on Morris.

In my original comment, I refered to Northpoint/Webb intersection, what I meant was Westside/Webb. That light is as bad as (or worse than) Morris/Web.

Both intersections seem to run the cycles based on time, rather than the presence of a vehicle triggering a sensor. Why is this?

Anyway, of course Webb traffic trumps Morris traffic, but 100 seconds is just too long.

This light is still a pain in the neck. Please make the timing a little more favorable for the unlucky drivers on Morris Road trying to get onto Webb Bridge.

The timing of the subject signal is properly adjusted based upon the traffic volumes along Webb Bridge Road and the traffic management strategy for that area. No further adjustments are planned.
