This slab is five inches the one next to it. It's like having a stair in the middle of the sidewalk. It's dangerous because people trip over it and fall, and it forces parents to use the street for their strollers. It's also not in a well-lit area.

4/18/2012 – Thank you so much for sharing your very important concern with the City of Richmond government. This situation with the 5 inch rise in sidewalk panel at 4107 Crestwood has been formally reported to Richmond Sidewalk Management ( Request #20020831813 ) so that proper inspection and handling can take place accordingly with a temp safety patch done first with subsequent permanent repair to be done secondly. Because of time that may be involved with this request, updates or follow up can be conducted by dialing the Richmond Customer Care Center at 804-646-7000.
