As of about 8:20 AM this morning, it appeared to be impossible to leave Mare Island. Due to the closure of eastbound Causeway due to the construction, and a huge wreck on Hwy 37 eastbound, it is impossible to leave Mare Island for downtown Vallejo or Hwy 29 or I-80. Trapped on Mare Island for an indeterminate length of time.
