Deskripsyon

The yield sign in front of Pennbrooke subdivision is faded. Needs to be replaced as most people I don't think even notice it now because is so badly faded. Zoom in on the photo to see it at the entrance.

This is at Old Milton Pkwy and Vista Forest.

The City issued a request to the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) for the yield sign to be removed and replaced with a full stop bar. As that agency has taken no action, the City has now requested permission from GDOT to do the work ourselves.

The City has received permission from the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) to replace the yield sign with a stop bar and a "Stop Here on Red" sign. Work has been scheduled.

This work has been scheduled for next week. Anticipated dates are February 10th and 11th. It includes the removal of the existing sign, installation a “Stop Here on Red” sign and extension of the stop bar across the right turn lane turning into the subdivision.
