Deskripsyon

A young lady was killed while attempting to cross the street at Garinger High School earlier this year. A crosswalk was placed at Ardrey Kell HS, but none has been placed at Garinger. What more does it take to actually see some action with school returning in just a few weeks?

Perhaps some Garinger students could make a new sign for the fence - WHERE'S OUR CROSSWALK? HOW MANY MUST DIE?
When I happen to go by at school times, I see students trying to cross correctly, to no avail. There could also be signage further away from the intersection. How can young people be encouraged to obey pedestrian laws when the basics are not in place.

A plan is only a plan. What about now? We can dig up streets for a day or two to repair sewer lines, etc. How long does it take to put in some signals? Redesign of the intersection can be allowed for while doing something NOW. The issue cannot be closed.
