Pretty much the same every day except Sunday. The other day one of the actual homeowners was left with no option for them to park at the edge of their driveway. Regardless of the fire hydrant issue itself, there was no option at that moment to squeeze a fire truck in between them. I wish I had taken a picture (next time, for sure).

Sadly, I bet in an emergency the person who was not parked in front of the hydrant would have their car pushed out of the way by the fire truck (because that would be their only direction of travel into the street), even though it should be the one who was illegally parked to have their car all bent up.

The Fire Marshal is aware of the situation and is and has been working with the Builder to keep a clear path as much as possible. It is a tight situation and they seem to be doing the best they can given the work that needs to get done. We will continue to monitor.

The City of Alpharetta has resolved this issue.
