Description
There is a walk signal on Mass Ave at Porter Sq mall for pedestrians crossing in front of cars waiting to turn left onto Mass Ave (across the street from Rod Dee). The walk signal turns to "don't walk" way before the cars are the left turn arrow (about 13-14 seconds too early). This pedestrians ignore the "don't walk" signal and cross in front of the cars just as they get their 9 seconds to turn left. Could the "walk" signal be extended to reflect that pedestrians can cross, so that when the "don't walk" appears it really means it?
