Thank you for reporting! Due to the nature of street damage, every report of a pothole must be inspected before repairs can be scheduled. This is because some potholes require extensive repairs due to sub-base damage. We will follow up with further action to be taken after this report has been inspected. Sereno Drive, from Fairgrounds to Tuolumne were scheduled for replacement (substructure included). It was to be replaced in early 2013 and the funds were in place because of the dangerous nature of the street. It is a case that is being reopened. Thank you for bringing attention to this problem and asking for it to be addressed.

What were the funds that were set aside for rebuilding these streets spent on? The wait has been way too long and the work is far overdue.

Crystal, the Measure B FY13/14 funds set aside for Sereno Drive still reside with the project. Design work did begin on Sereno Drive last year. As a result of Engineering's effort, starting next month the project to replace dilapidated concrete sidewalks and substandard curb ramps will begin. This concrete project will be soon followed by the asphalt work which is anticipated to occur summer 2014. Maintenance workers repainted Sereno Dr. this month -- January 2014 - an area that is going to be torn up within 6 months? . The street is being "rebuilt" 1-1/2 years later than planned. Glad to hear something is moving along. Hope to experience the improvements soon.
