Because there is no fence that closes off Windward Community Park, children from the park continually play in the woods surrounding the park, and trespass into neighboring yards. Besides the infringement of privacy to the surrounding houses and golf course and obvious violations of trespassing, there are safety risks as well for children to wander into the woods without supervision.
In the past there was a fence that surrounded the park and signs alerting to the fact that beyond the fence was private property. It appears that a fence was started to be put around the park, but it was never completed.
We are requesting that the fence be completed for the safety of the children and the privacy of the neighboring areas. Thank You
