  • 1-7 Humphrey St New Haven, CT, 06513, USA - Fair Haven
Overgrowth blocking the “bike lane” on Humphery by the Humphery/James bus stop
  • 278-398 Yale Ave New Haven, CT, 06515, USA - Westville
Planters were destroyed by drivers, now even the plastic orange cones are gone. Lasting hard protection (not just flexible plastic delineators) is needed to protect people on this corner which drivers cut through constantly.
  • 278-398 Yale Ave New Haven, CT, 06515, USA - Westville
Planters were destroyed. Cones get constantly moved/removed. Hard protection is needed on this dangerous school corner.
  • 1296-1398 Townsend Ave New Haven, CT, 06513, USA - Annex
would it be possible to get a bike lane for townsend ave. With warmer weather coming townsend and Woodward aves will be major routes to parks and the beach. There is no good bike infrastructure over in east shore.
  • Edgewood Ave New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Edgewood
Broken glass in the bike lane, delineators destroyed
  • 167–199 Canal St New Haven CT 06511, United States - Dixwell
This machine has been blocking the entirety of the bike trail for a number of days. Very uncool to rob pedestrians and cyclists of one of their designated areas.Cut
  • 278-398 Yale Ave New Haven, CT, 06515, USA - Westville
A driver drove through the unprotected bike lane and destroyed the park fence. Fence replacement and hard protection for the bike lane on Yale is needed.
  • 269-281 Yale Ave New Haven, CT, 06515, USA - Westville
Next to a school and a park, this corner remains dangerous with drivers continually knocking down cones and destroying planters. The corner has been unprotected since the original planters were destroyed by drivers and now more are gone. Hard protection — like steel and concrete rather than wood and plastic — is needed to keep people safe on this corner. Please fix before a school kid is killed!
  • 121 Elm St New Haven, CT, 06510, USA - Downtown

The Safe Routs for All plan used crash data, % of intersections w/o crosswalks, etc. to prioritize the most dangerous neighborhoods.

This was not one of them....but it shows the city's real priorities.

  • Brownell St & Edgewood Ave New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Edgewood
Need real protection in this painted bike lane buffer area. A car drove into the bike lane to make a left at Brownell to avoid traffic on edgewood without checking their mirror and forced me into the curb while I was legally continuing straight in the bike lane. I had to reach out and hold onto the car's trunk to avoid falling underneath the car and getting run over. The car kept on going and was completely oblivious to the threat they made on my life. If there were barriers between the bike and car lanes then this could have been prevented
  • 601-725 Edgewood Ave New Haven, CT, 06515, USA - Westville
An new plan is needed here. Drivers keep using the bike lane for driving and parking. Delineators keep getting broken and create more trash, cost more money. The cycletrack has been a decade in the making (still unfinished). Hard protection is obviously needed.
  • 167-183 Chapel St New Haven, CT, 06513, USA - Fair Haven
Chapel street from Front street all the way to downtown would be an ideal bike lane way (protected) to go from Fair Haven Heights, Branford or Fair Haven to downtown to commute to work.
