说明
The rubber mat built into the sidewalk to prevent slipping is peeling away from the cement and is a tripping hazard. The same is true at many of the Whitney Avenue intersections in Spring Glen.

Hello tripst3r,
Just a heads up. this issue was reported more than 5 years ago, and the last posted comments from our town's officials were also from more than 5 years ago.
It might be a good idea for someone to start sending emails or making phone calls.
If anyone needs any contact information for anyone employed with our town, please let me know.
I hope this information helps.

Also, I do want you to relay one of my concerns. Cost. It is one cost to grind the current mat away and replace with a new adhesively attached mat (lifespan???). It is quite another (much higher) cost if the ramp is not ADA compliant, or is in poor condition, which should appropriately be replaced. That can add up to be very expensive - but I must walk the talk about safety being priority 1, if I am to live with myself. Let me take a look at the situation, and I will go from there. MGK
