The cars parked all over also make it difficult for cars turning right from the access street on Washington avenue onto Moyamensing. When I turn right at this intersection I have to practically drive through the intersection to nearly over into the oncoming traffic lane. This is very hazardous.
This issue only gets worse. The sidewalk at this location is unusable since the business decided to park all over. The handicapped ramp is always blocked, the sidewalk is like a maze. I call the police almost daily now but nothing gets done. Are they in with the police? Why are they allowed to continue with this behavior? People should be able to walk on the sidewalk.

I was walking last night and both the sidewalk right next to the shop AND the sidewalk between Washington Ave and the cutoff were blocked by cars and trucks. I had to walk in the street this time instead of doing a serpentine around the carnage.
I called the 3rd and told them about it and the fact that I call 911 at least once a week on this issue. He said they would send someone and I should call 911 to report it after I hung up, which I did. I was in the park and actually saw a police car drive up. I'm not sure what the result was but we'll see today and tomorrow.
I can't believe all of the various car parts and fluids that these people just leave all over the street. It is really inconsiderate. It's an eyesore and a danger. The handicapped ramp to the sidewalk has been blocked for months, the fire hydrant is always blocked, and I'm sure it's not exactly ecologically sound to have wrecked cars leaking everything all over.
As a previous poster stated, it is always a mess trying to walk or drive there because there are cars EVERYWHERE blocking views and lanes.
No change, just walked by and there are cars all over the sidewalk again. I had to walk in the street. Was Weaver acknowledging that they don't give a damn? 911 called once again.
Passed again today. A new shipment of wrecks were apparently delivered. Once again, the handicapped sidewalk ramp and sidewalks are both blocked. Called 911 and the 3rd again.I was instructed to call Officer DelGatto, the community relations officer, at 215-686-3033. I have done this as well.

I just read that the district captain acknowledged this issue 27 days ago. I'm not sure if that's good or bad. 27 days....
More of the same...
