That's funny, because they just did a video showing an intersection with the exact same problem that I've seen here at this intersection before! Idiots blow through it (where they are required to turn right), and try to squeeze in behind the person who is rightfully waiting to get into the next right turn lane which takes you back towards Charlotte on 485.

The same thing happens at Old Providence and Rea Road. The right turn only drivers decide to got straight on at the last minute and I am tired of the close calls. We need those yellow lane barriers like at the Arboreatum Shopping Ctr. I guess there have not been enough crashes there yet to get attention to the growing problem.

It seems like lately, our roads and the signs and all of the maintenance that goes with it are done by people with an eighth grade education...

It will take an accident to fix this. Everyday, I see a close miss at this spot. I think there needs to be a barrier to keep drivers from going straight in the turn lane

I saw a driver use the turn only lane to pass another driver going straight through yesterday at Rea and Old Providence. Fortunately, there were no drivers on Old Providence making left or right turns. What are these idiots thinking??? It is bad enough when they don't turn...but to use it as a passing opportunity?? Yikes!!
