Descrição
Once again a deep pothole has emerged at the entrance to the customer entrance to the David Cox Post Office. This hole has become so deep that it is now dangerous, wheel-bending and tire ruining. Cars going around this hole to avoid it sooner or later will be involved in an accident at this spot. It needs to be fixed NOW! Last year, thanks to See, Click, Fix a decent concrete repair was made, but the new hole is right near that repaired area. Again, as was the case last year, the Post Office management does not seem to care that this hole presents a danger and a potential cost to drivers going to the Post Office. It has been obvious for more than a month now and getting worse daily.

They are probably reluctant to fix it because the Post Office traffic is probably what causes it and they (Post Office) are not part of Cambridge Properties.
The more people that call and complain that they may not shop and or dine at that location any more will be the deciding factor on when and how fast the pothole gets repaired.
Please call Brianne Moran
704.333.2393 x 111 and request them to make the repair.

It turns out the responsibility is on the side of the US Post Office.
I went to visit the manager at the David Cox Post Office. She made calls while I sat with her. She called a Charlotte area facility maintenance office and got a run around. She called a national office in Dallas Texas and was told the case was still open and the names mentioned were the same names she just got off the phone with that acted as though they didn't even know what she was talking about. There were five active cases open on the issue.
We then went outside to take pictures that she could send to the Charlotte office to matbe spur some action. While we were out there a Char/Meck truck pulled up and the man jumped out and told here he just got off the phone with the Mayor and that the Mayor told him it wasn't theirs (meaning Char/Meck). He told her it needed extensive repairs or would continue to fail forever.
The Post Office manager went back inside and I continued to talk with the Char/Meck person. I told him to have another talk with the Mayor and to tell him to take the position of a leader on this issue and help get the problem resolved.
Well it is my understanding that Cambridge Properties had the pothole filled with assault patch material, only of the ban-aid variety. At least cars will not have to crash through that hole for a while.
Thanks to Cambridge Properties for helping out.
