What do we need to do to bring attention back to this area? The defeat of the cement factory was huge in allowing that it is an area of environmental concerns that include social justice, but those interested people have abandoned it! The boat is a disaster, the dumping is a disaster, the fire hazards created by un-restricted campers is a disaster. My understanding is that they finally shut down the unpermitted business at the old mill after it was cited for pollution issues with water run off. Please write to city council!
