I drive this road at least 4 times a day, speeding is not an issue here, it's too short of a road. 35 MPH is entirely appropriate. Just because someone chose to buy a house on a road with traffic that has served the community for years, we shouldn't have to install speed bumps and lower the speed limit. They should have considered this when they bought the house!

A speed study was conducted on Bates Road and found the 85th percentile speed to be 30mph. This speed is within normal limits for this type of roadway.
